About

Designing at scale, thinking about systems

I'm Edilson de Jesus Emídio, a Product & System Designer based in Maputo, Mozambique. My background spans graphic design, digital marketing, and product, allowing me to bring visual craft, user empathy, and business awareness to every project.

For the past few years, I've been the sole designer at Vodacom Mozambique, owning end-to-end design across 4 live products from a field-agent platform used by thousands of agents nationwide to a consumer app with hundreds of thousands of subscribers. This experience shaped my approach: I think in systems, design for scale, and push things to shipped.

I integrate AI tools throughout my design process, from research synthesis and copy generation to brainstorming and design decisions allowing me to move faster without sacrificing quality.
